Files on NAS load with corrupt warning but files are OK

I am getting a message that the image is corrupted when loading files from my Qnap NAS. When I access the same files via ACDsee or some other app they are ok.

How exactly this NAS is connected to your computer? Is it mapped to some drive letter?
When exactly you see this message, when you try to view the file from Tonfotos library? What about thumbnails, of those files, do they look?
Is this behaviour similar to all files on that NAS or just some of them?
