Availability
The version is now available for download on Windows, Mac, and Linux. If automatic updates are enabled, the update will be installed automatically on Windows and macOS. Update publishing for Linux is now operational again.
Setting the event sorting order
Most cataloging programs that display photos on a timeline (similar to the Events section in Tonfotos) typically display the most recent photos at the top, followed by older ones. This is the case in Google Photos, Windows Photos, and many others. This has been the case in Tonfotos from the very beginning; in a sense, it’s an industry standard.
But as usual, there are exceptions; in Apple Photos it’s the other way around (think different, you know)
We’ve received occasional requests from users requesting alternative ordering. Version 1.16.4 adds a setting so you can choose your preferred order. This affects both the sorting of photos within events and the sorting of events themselves in the feed.
