Alain22 I really have a problem! Tonfotos is showing me a lot of duplicates… except it seems like some of them don’t actually exist and are in folders that no longer exist.
It is critically important that indexing should be completed (Ready status) before you start working on duplicates, otherwise you might operate on outdated information.
Alain22 I still think that tonfotos finds duplicates that don’t exist. Something to look into!
There is no need to guess, this can be easily verified. Tonfotos provides you with maximum transparency. Just click on any of suspected duplicates in the dialog to go to the file. Then use file info panel to see all the locations of duplicates for that file. Clicking on particular location will get you to the right place in the library. Then using context menu you can find this file in the explorer to make sure it really exists.
