I use albums for both temporary selections and selections I want to keep. The software includes an “Album” option in the menus; personally, I would have preferred a dedicated album menu—separate from the tag menu—with an input field for each, to avoid having to scroll through a list. Also, when creating an album, I would have liked the option to check a “Tag” box; this would allow me to embed the information directly into the file in a way that persists across other software. For reference, you can create tags in Tonfotos, but if you rename one within the file’s keywords, the old tag name remains alongside the new one.
