Can I go directly to the File properties from Tonfotos?

Now i click a foto, look for the foto check if i’s the right one and then do ctrl-enter to see its file properties……

Mike You mean Windows Explorer file properties? To do that just click “Show in Explorer” and from there Alt+Enter.

However, you can see properties of the file right there in Tonotos, just open File info panel (Control+P)

Personally, I would really like to be able to access the explorer not just from folders—admittedly—but also from people and albums.

Alain22 You still can. Do first “go to folder” and then “Show in Explorer”. I hope you understand that context menu cannot contain all possible commands, otherwise it will be few pages long. We have to limit it to most relevant commands in this context, that is why it is called “context menu”

I understand the philosophy of the software and the concern about having simplified context menus.
On the other hand, it can be confusing sometimes and you have to look for things.
For my part, they could be a bit more detailed even if I share your view that they shouldn’t be overloaded.
Often I have to search. For example, with people, the context menu is different depending on whether you see the portrait or the whole photo. When you don’t use it regularly, you have to look around.
