崔cccn Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately we have incredible small amount of users from China currently, that why it does not justify supporting another UI language. This is a shame and we would love to change that, but unfortunately it turns out to be not that simple.
One of the issues is that we don’t even have many web site visitors from China. Sure you cannot expect huge amount of visitors if you don’t have web site translated to Chinese, but even if we take that into account, number of visitiors is still too small. It is three times less than number of visitors from Lithuania for example, for whom we also do not have web site transated. If you compare population of China and Lithuania, problem becomes obvious.
Currently we are looking into ways to increase our exposure to Chinese users, however we don’t have business registration in China, which makes things much more complicated.
With that said, I would like to ask you few questions about your experience. You told that you heard about us on reddit, which is understandable. But did you have any issues finding our site afterwards? Did you use baidu for that or something else? Does our web site opens well from your location? Is it slow? Was it difficult to download the distribution file? Did it take long?
The thing is, we were under impression that we need to have .cn web site otherwise it will be difficult for users to even access. However, if there are no issues, that makes things much simpler and we can speedup our localization efforts.
