Names of people missing in XMP
Hello, Some photos, fortunately few in number, have recognized people but the information is not present in the XMP part. Could I have made a mistake somewhere? Thank you Best regards
Alain22 Are people confirmed on those photos? Is storing data to XMP turned on for that location (it is set up separately for different locations)? How exactly you check XMP?
Hello I don’t know how many files have this anomaly, but there shouldn’t be too many, so it’s not a big deal.
I notice it quite easily because I created a PowerShell script that takes the XMP information and copies it into the file’s keywords. I still check using XNVIEW MP
Alain22 Well, it is hard to say what goes wrong. XMP might be corrupt, files can be read-only. Lots of things can go wrong, it would require digging deep to find out what exactly is happening in your case.
