Apologies for the delay in replying. Our workflow is as follows:
Our photography company works with at least 10 schools per year. In addition, throughout the year we also cover other photography events where students from those schools are present. Because of that, we organize and upload events by folder. For example: First Communion – School X, Graduation Party – School X, First Communion – School Y, Graduation Party – School Y.
What we do is search for each student individually within each event. The issue is that when we search for a student in the Graduation Party folder, the results also include photos from the First Communion folder. That is why I asked whether there is a way to search only within a specific added folder, rather than across all added and indexed folders.
We work this way because we only deliver to clients the photographs in which they appear, rather than the full set of photos. Each event is large-scale and includes a very high number of images, so we use your software to filter the photos and deliver the final product, as well as to create photo albums for our clients.
This specific feature of your program is very useful for us and greatly speeds up our workflow, since before this we had to do the filtering by person or student manually.
