Dear Tonfotos Support Team,
I have been using Tonfotos for my media library and I am very impressed with its indexing speed and user-friendly interface. It has been a great help in managing my archives.
However, I have encountered a technical issue regarding video playback that I would like to report:
The Issue: Some of my videos, particularly those shot in vertical (portrait) mode, are being played upside down (rotated 180 degrees) within Tonfotos.
Observations: These same video files play with the correct orientation in standard media players (like VLC or Windows Media Player) and on my mobile device. The issue only occurs within the Tonfotos preview and playback screens.
Technical Context: I suspect this might be related to how the software interprets the “Rotation Metadata” embedded in the video files.
Is there a specific setting I should adjust to fix this? Or is this a known bug that might be addressed in a future update?
I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide. Thank you for creating such a useful tool.
Best regards,
GD
