support for json XL files? (.jxl extentions)

that would be nice, because i create them by converting a png from a pipeline output to jxl:

take picture with camera of a printed out image -> cut it with a pipeline to size (like those pdf scanner apps for phones) -> now convert .png to .jxl to save a lot of memory (affinity photos). ( like 360 images at _12mp [3gb] -> [700mb] or so in jxl format)

masterPice I see, so that was your choice. Well, the support for JXL is still lacking. Probably you can consider WEBP, or AVIF? They are quite close in compression ratio, but much more popular.

Andrey for now i just gone to normal jpg. but would be nice to do it in jxl from the beginning, especialy with the faces and all, cause converting removes them im guessing

That definitely depends how you convert. When converting using Tonfotos, you chose weither to keep metadata or strip it away. I guess some other conversion tools should also have this option.
