CUDA Requirements

Hello all!

I just installed Tonfotos and is working as expected, no problems.

The question is; I launched the app and the popup to install CUDA to use the GPU instead CPU for facial recognition appears. I downloaded and installed it but when I launch Tonfotos again, a new popup is showed that said the drives for my GPU are not updated.
I’ve got an nVidia GeForce GT 730, so I donwloaded and installed the latest available on the webpage (sep 2024) and restarted the CPU. But the error still. Any ideas?

Inkisidor2 did you install the game or the studio driver? sometimes they make a difference

it is not the first time nvidia got a bit troublesome for me, nothing to do with the apps, but just cuda and all being a bit of a mess

GT 730 has compute capabilities version 3.5, according to this table: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda/gpus/legacy

Tonfotos uses CUDA libraries V 12.1 with minimal compute capability 5.0

I am sorry, this GPU is a bit old for Tonfotos.

Unfortunately, I have no chance to choose game or studio driver, there is only one available:

hm maybe your gpu is too old / tonfotos needs a newer cuda versions, that your gpu does not support.
(your gpu is nott the newest i guess)
maybe wait for one of tonfotos to answer this one, im just an other user here.

This is what I think, but if my GPU is too old, why Tonfotos told me I can use the CUDA?
