location: amount of image - slider

hi there,
i got a big list of images that follow a path, so a line of pictures on the map where i walked along basicly. i would love to have a slider like the size slider in the folders view. but in the location view. where it changes how many images are shown before they group together. in this case making less grouping is what this is about, seeing a more clear line of images. maybe every meter a image instead of every 50 meters or so, when i zoom out.

masterPice With denser placement of pins on the map there will be a lot of overlap, as we can see on your sample. This will be not very nice looking. Also, performance can also suffer. Those are downsides. What about benefits? Is there any specific usage scenario that is not possible or difficult now, but will become better with such a feature?

i think a slider would simply make more adjustment possible,
Right now i can zoom deep enough into a place to see different places.

i have 5000 pictures from location = my home,
i have 5000 pictures from location = my garden with my small neffues in in

problem: my garden is directly next to my home, and right now i can only zoom in far enougth to see the outer garden pictures seperated from the home pictures. if i was able to have this mentioned slider OR zoom in deeper , i could then only filter by garden / home

What prevents you from zooming deeper?

it stops , it is at the "strongest"zoom level already

the GPS positions on the photos are normally not accurate, and I would expect you have photos around the house and different places ? unless you use a specific camera with better accurate GPS.

I can zoom all the way into the street - and I dont see any reason why you would zoom in so much into the garden that you can see which photos is from the front and back or the garden. (that is due to privat/home GPS limitations accuracy)

Stig Agree, that is my own experience too. On the maximum zoom level of the map GPS accuracy is the barrier, not the grouping.
